In every company, and in a certain sense your being is one of them, whether in the sense of a spiritualist or stoic, pragmatic everyday hero, scientist, pope or content creator, is basically accounted for in the same concept. Budgeting. Accounting. Standardized. Money as an energetic symbol rules the world.

But I think we should incorporate more of the right to second, third and fourth chances into our culture. There are approaches such as bankruptcy law or social initiatives that try to give disadvantaged people new paths in life. Fortunately, in some countries, whether it is through fault or not is no longer taken into account.

But as long as the most sensible ideas such as basic income or start-up capital for young people do not find a majority because too many old patterns preach toxic capitalism, there is at least a need for a

with which we dare at any time and do what may one day be possible in a more serious and natural way.

But let's start at the beginning: Current is the dry reality in which we find ourselves, essentially the beginning of all exercises and lessons.

We can assume that some people have dark spots in their biographical satisfaction, while others urgently need to start acting in this way and say goodbye to procrastination. Others are happy now because so much is already running smoothly.

Of course, much of what we demand and implement here is a highly symbolic gesture. Penetrating thoughts into characters, into the reality of the material, even if this reality is digital. We will smile about it later, which is why I contradict some teachers and would-be gurus here.

However, take the free time you would have if you had already arrived at Easy Living. Look. Look at the boat, the ship, the canoe, the cruiser, whatever is meant to represent your being and you in it, with which you are sailing out, or flying, as in the case of my spaceship metaphor in my actions applied to myself.

The metaphor you choose is not unimportant, but is essentially a question of personal taste. And the one required here is usually far from fantastic.

We look at the assets and liabilities of an existence, simply, in an accounting sense, without any value judgment. It would make sense to view your life as a role-playing character, a character sheet.

This allows you to dissociate from the scene later, should you wish to use this art form. If you don't like your old self, create a new self. Thanks to findings from modern sciences such as neurology and biochemistry, there is much more plasticity in genes and the brain, allowing you to break out of the prison of old psychological ideas into more fluid norms.

The art of reflecting on one’s own being begins with simple diary-like observation of life.

The Morning Pages often used here, which are also not a new invention in the self-help world, are sufficient for this purpose if they begin with a powerful first act, as suggested here.

You don't need anyone but yourself, just draw a neutral balance of the situation without evaluating or devaluing yourself or dwelling on the past.

    Here and now

It doesn't matter what happened twenty years ago, it is dust or will become dust. If you are proud of the past, then that is something present.

On the plus side, if you are sad about events from the last millennium then that is the present, but basically it is just this sadness or the negative associated image, feeling, train of thought that brings it up again and again in you.

Take a little time out for this accounting process.

A few hours, an evening without distractions. But don't overdo it. The facts are usually on the table quicker than you would like.

If you tend towards complicated patterns and expressions like me, choose the simpler approach, if you like to simplify, venture into detailed hours of analysis.

In the consultation, I only want your presence in this first meeting; psychoanalysis is an expensive hobby and no longer a serious approach to practical life.

I don't mean to be provocative, but a large part of psychological thought and disciplines is at best part of a puzzle, is basically at the level of "adult games" and very little can withstand long-term studies of real effects. And I don't mean influenced small groups and echo chambers of back-slapping escape personas.

I just want you to know who or what you are now and who you want to be in the future, where and how. It couldn't be simpler.

The path from A to B is much easier to determine after a daily assessment than if you first determine the path without knowing who you are or where you want to go. This often happens when you try to develop yourself or optimize yourself, as it is often called these days. There is also wisdom in stable ignorance, but from my own experience I would doubt the sustainability of the house of cards concept.

And contrary to the heart and gratitude or other reasons that were supposedly missing, the real reason for failure is usually much more banal and cannot be lumped together in a self-help book.

I think it is very important that you start this exercise completely on your own, without being shoved down by any ideology or school of thought. On the other hand, I don't even want to dictate exactly how it should be carried out.

I work and support a client, student, customer with my personal writing skills and a few additional creative methods from the field of art. Digital multimedia composition.

But these are very personal approaches based on talent and inner vibe. I couldn't talk about it in a logical mathematical concept or articulate myself as an athlete, which doesn't mean that this is the wrong approach.

Maybe you would rather talk to a tree you have previously hugged, or find mathematical formulas that express yourself, your today, your tomorrow.

So for many aspects of modern magic, I choose tools that are familiar to me and that are easy for me to use. I haven't been scribbling in my notebooks for a long time now because I go straight from making notes in my brain to the flow on the screen, usually even on the desktop. Even when I'm travelling, I prefer co-working spaces with monitors.

Any other basic strategy is just as valid.

Dance your present and then dance your future.

But we are jumping the gun unnecessarily.

The exercise to be done is here and now.

Current wants you to give yourself an hour of time and space, perhaps immediately after reading this, to simply take stock.
